Tax Cuts and Jobs Act Expiration: Options for the Tax Code
Many provisions of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act were written to sunset at the end of 2025, building a decision point into the government’s budget baseline – a point at which, if no additional legislation is passed, taxes are scheduled to rise from current levels.
