Ryan Nunn

Ryan Nunn is the Director of Research for the Budget Lab. In prior roles, he has worked in economic research and policy at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, U.S. Treasury Department, and the Hamilton Project at the Brookings Institution. He has also served as a senior economist at the White House’s Council of Economic Advisers. His work covers a broad array of economic policy issues, with a focus on labor markets and public finance. He has commented on these issues at the Wall Street Journal, NPR, CNN, and other news outlets. Ryan received his Ph.D. in public policy and economics from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
